CURRENT LEVEL OF CONCERN COLOR CODE IS YELLOW
PREVIOUS LEVEL OF CONCERN COLOR CODE IS GREEN
カムチャッカ半島のゴレリィ火山で地震が増加。
火山灰を伴う噴煙を海抜５キロ程度噴き上げるような爆発的噴火の
可能性ありとのこと。カラーコードを緑から黄色へと引き上げ。
Seismic activity of the volcano increased. An explosive eruption with ash plumes
up to 5 km (or 16,400 ft.) ASL is possible.
Seismicity of the volcano increased on December 22 and remains slightly
above background levels from ~00:00 UTC December 23 till present.
There is one seismic station at the area of Mutnovsky and Gorely volcanoes
but a spectral analysis of seismic signal point to Gorely volcano.
According to visual data, first after a long time a strong fumarolic
activity of Gorely volcano was observed on November 28. A height of gas-
steam plume was about 400 m above volcanic crater.
Last strong explosive eruption of the volcano occurred in 1986. Ash
plumes rose up to ~ 5.0 km (16,400 ft) ASL. Gorely volcano is located
about 75 km to the south-west from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky:
